I forgot about Little Mosque on the Prairie! Such a good show.

Yeah, I have one episode left to watch for this season. It was so boring at the beginning but really got good the last 3 or so episodes when they toned down the annoying Rev.

You should add "Memorize Qur'an" to your list. :P

Adib: Yes, I'd love to! That would be a huge goal!

Assalamu alaikom,
I stopped watching Lil Mosque while I worked. But when I became "job-free", I sat down and watched a whole season in one day. I'm not kidding. I forgot how much I like it. I'm working on the fourth season (I'm guessing that's the current one) now, but at a more sedate pace. :) I'm watching them online.

Potty training... don't miss it for a second. It was the only part of having wee little ones around the house that I did not at all like. In fact, I really dislike potty training! I'm glad it's behind me now! (My kids are older, one's almost a teenager, in fact. A whole new set of issues. LOL)

You're going to be a foster parent? If you've blogged it, I've missed it. Do tell, if you don't mind. That's incredibly admirable!

I want to be fluent in Arabic, too. Are you fluent in French, since I see you watch a French tv show?

Eyes Serene: If you get discouraged with Little Mosque in the first couple episodes of the 4th season, continue watching because it gets funny.

And yes, whole other set of issues when they're teenagers, I can imagine!

About foster parenting, I have mentionned it once I think in a post about adoption in Islam but only about my desire to be a foster parent. I haven't applied but I will soon me moving into a much bigger apartment and so will have space for the child. I will document the process on the blog probably! Maybe this summer I will start the procedures if I feel ready.

And yes, I'm fluent in French. It was my first spoken language and main language at home with my family. I went to English school most of my life though except for the last 2 years of high school that I did in French. Quebec shows can be really funny. I hardly ever watch them, but I love our humour.

I live in the U.S. so Little Mosque On the Prarie doesn't come on t.v. I watch it online. Although, since I have been busy, I have stopped for awhile. I need to watch the fourth season soon!
