My Nora is on the plane

I didn't actually write about this yet, but my daughter is going to Egypt. We just said our goodbyes at the airport a couple hours ago and she's flying right now towards Egypt. I don't know what to say about it right now... I guess I should just think of them, but not get myself nuts about it so I can get a decent night's sleep.

I miss my baby. I even miss my giant baby husband. lol.

Awww. I can't imagine being separated from my son. I'm hoping his father waits for a time when I'm available so we can all go abroad (KSA) together. I don't know what I'd do w/out my two men.

Hang in there. I'm sure they'll call constantly. :)

Inshallah they arrvied safely. You're daughter is going to have such a great time! Visiting overseas as a kid is the best. Everyone wants to hold you, everyone wants to play with you and everyone wants to feed you! The only hard part is going to be getting her back on a schedule when she comes home.

Your husband is pretty tough too. I don't think my husband would willingly sign up to keep Layla by himself.
I hope they both come back to you safely and that you can survive in the meantime :)

I wonder how she was on the plane without mommy? :S But your hubby's family need to meet her and touch her and hug her :) Incha'allah all will go well.
Thank God there is internet in order to stay in touch and won't cost you a fortune !
Are they staying for a month? missy... guess what.. it's your first Ramadan as a Muslim!! yippie !! Incha'allah you can use this opportunity of being on your own to explore and experience. I can;t wait for your visit :) you are welcome anytime.. I know gas is expensive..maybe I can help out since I am not really able to get there... like I would wish. Incha'allah my husband will take me down that way to see my sisters in Islam :)

Awwww it must have been so hard saying bye to her! Inshallah she'll have a safe trip and an amazing time. Is it her first time in Egypt? Will you be joining them?

Thanks, they arrived safely to my husband's mom's condo. I got to see her on the cam a tiny bit during my lunch break. She could see us too and was saying hi to us. My brother, mom and dad were there. :) She seemed quite OK even if she hadn't seen me for the whole night. That has never happened before!

Mrs. S: Thanks for the positive attitude. Everyone around me is just worried about the whole thing and it's getting to me a bit. But seeing her OK made things better.

Stacy: He didn't really wanna go alone with her, but he kind of had to. His parents haven't seen her yet and I couldn't go. He stepped up!

Anisah: We should meet up really soon. I don't mind going to Montreal at all. Nevermind the gas, it's all good!
Yes, they are staying for about a month. It will be tough, I just want to see her and squeeze her now and it hasn't been 24h! My first Ramadan should be weird and a bit lonely. But at least I don't have any fabulous Ramadans to compare it to so it will be nice. Just me to concentrate on Islam. No pressure except my own. :)

CLA: Thanks! Al7amdulilah, they did have a safe trip and are there now :)
